El Vijo Surf is situated in Nuquí. A municipality in the department of Chocó on the shores of the Pacific, where the Colombian sea and jungle merge.

Nuquí is a destination that is completely isolated from Colombia's main cities, and while that is part of the charm of this beautiful place, it also means that you won't be able to reach it by road.

You can only reach Nuquí by air, flying to Reyes Murillo Airport from cities like Bogotá, Medellín, Quibdó, and occasionally from Cali. Local airlines such as Clic, Moon Flights, and Satena operate flights to and from Nuquí.

Upon arriving at Nuquí Airport, to get to El Vijo Surf, you have to walk from the airport to the tourist pier, about a block away, and take the public boat indicating our name.

Alternatively, if you prefer, we can arrange a private boat to pick you up upon your arrival and take you on a 40-minute journey.

It is important to note that the boats depart from the pier at 1:00 PM every day and take more than an hour for the journey, depending on the stops.

It is also important to take into account that in the Nuquí region it is difficult to find ATMs, and hardly anyone accepts credit cards. So it is important to bring a good amount of cash with you for a smoother trip.
