The personal information provided will be used exclusively for the purposes for which it was collected, such as processing reservations, providing requested services, responding to inquiries, and improving the quality of our services.
We will not share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties without your prior consent, except when necessary to comply with legal requirements, protect our rights, or ensure the safety of our customers and employees.
Information Security:
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or improper disclosure.
Our staff is trained to handle personal information confidentially and comply with privacy provisions.

We will retain your personal information for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Once it is no longer needed, it will be securely deleted.

Terms and Conditions
Reservations and Payments:

All reservations are subject to availability and must be confirmed by our accommodation.

A 30% deposit is required to guarantee the reservation, along with essential information for registering your booking.

The initial payment must be made via bank transfer to the official accounts of the accommodation, and the remaining payment in cash upon arrival at the accommodation.

Local taxes and additional fees may apply according to Colombian regulations.

All payments must be made in the currency specified at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

The exchange rate used at the time of payments and transfers will be subject to changes depending on market fluctuations.

The exchange rate used will be selected by the accommodation and communicated to the client at the time of payment. It is the client's responsibility to cover any additional charges associated with currency conversion or bank transaction fees.

The client must accept the forms of payment indicated, whether in national or international currency.
Check-in and Check-out Times:

Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

These times may vary and will depend on the accommodation's decisions.

If you need to make special arrangements for check-in or check-out, please contact us in advance.
Cancellations and Modifications:

In case of cancellation or no-show, a 50% retention of the total reservation value will be applied.

In cases of cancellation due to health reasons duly justified with a medical certificate, a 30% retention of the total reservation value will be applied.

We are not responsible for the costs associated with refunds of payments made.

Changes to the reservation are subject to availability and may be subject to additional charges.
Minors Policy:

Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians during their stay at our accommodation.

The parent or legal guardian of the minor assumes full responsibility for their behavior during the stay.

To ensure the safety of minors, valid official identification proving the relationship with the responsible adult may be requested at check-in.

The accommodation reserves the right to deny entry to minors not accompanied by a responsible adult or who do not meet the established requirements.
Pets Policy:

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our accommodation due to safety and comfort considerations for all our guests.
Customer Responsibility:

Customers are responsible for any damage caused to the facilities, furniture, or other property of the accommodation during their stay.

Customers are expected to respect our regulations located in the common areas entitled "RECOMMENDATIONS AND WARNINGS OF THE PLACE WHERE YOU ARE STAYING AND THE USE OF THE FACILITIES," the universal rules of coexistence, and the surrounding natural environment.

The accommodation is exempt from liability if any guest attempts to touch, handle, or alter the surrounding flora and fauna. We are surrounded by jungle and sea, so it is essential to respect and preserve the natural environment.

Using common facilities, such as the dining area or resting areas, is done at your own risk. Please be careful and follow all safety rules in the "RECOMMENDATIONS AND WARNINGS OF THE PLACE WHERE YOU ARE STAYING AND THE USE OF THE FACILITIES."
Noise Policy:

Out of respect for all our guests, we ask that you keep noise to a minimum during rest hours.
Accommodation Responsibility:

We are committed to providing you with clean, comfortable, and safe accommodation during your stay.

The accommodation is not responsible if, due to natural or divine reasons, it cannot fulfill the reserved service.

No refunds will be made in case of situations beyond our control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or other similar circumstances.

The accommodation is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to your personal belongings during your stay.

The accommodation is not responsible for the non-fulfillment of products or services by third parties included in the reservation made with the accommodation.
Reservations for Activities, Tours, and Private Maritime Transport with El Vijo Surf:

Third-Party Services: The activities, tours, and private maritime transports recommended by the accommodation and included in our all-inclusive plans are provided by third parties. We do not assume responsibility if these services do not meet the client's expectations.

Start Time: The start time of all activities, tours, and/or private maritime transports will be communicated by the accommodation staff through our official digital media or verbally. The client who has contracted the service agrees to comply with the scheduled time of all activities, tours, and/or private maritime transports contracted for themselves or their group.

Cancellations or Delays: We are not responsible in case of cancellation or delay of any activity, tour, and/or private maritime transport due to natural conditions, acts of God, or any other unforeseen event.

Reservation Problems with Third Parties: In the case of private maritime transports, we are not responsible for reservation problems with third parties, such as airlines, accommodations, or other services, that may affect the client, such as flight losses or other inconveniences.

Flexible Dates and Times: The dates and start times of activities, tours, and private maritime transports are subject to nature (weather and tides) and must be respected by all clients. In case of non-compliance, the boat captain or activity guide has the right to start the activity, tour, and/or private maritime transport without the possibility of a refund.

Customer Responsibility: We are not responsible for any damage or accident occurring before, during, or after any activity, tour, and/or private maritime transport, nor for the loss, theft, or misplacement of personal belongings.

Proper Behavior: It is the sole responsibility of the client to maintain proper behavior before, during, and after enjoying the activities, tours, and/or private maritime transports contracted.

Environmental Conservation: Touching, handling, feeding, or altering the behavior of local flora and fauna during activities, tours, and/or private maritime transports is prohibited.

Safety at Sea: Swimming or diving in the sea during private maritime journeys is strictly prohibited. The client's safety is their responsibility during these times.

Right of Admission: The boat captain reserves the right of admission and may exclude anyone who endangers the safety of the boat and passengers.
Itinerary Modifications:

The boat captain has the authority to change the date and start time of the activity, tour, and/or private maritime transport as deemed necessary.
Data Security and Protection:

We implement security measures to protect the personal information provided by our clients, in accordance with Colombian data protection laws.

The information provided by clients will be used solely for purposes related to the reservation and the provision of services in our accommodation.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:

These terms and conditions are accepted by the client once a reservation is made with our accommodation through our official contacts.

By making a reservation, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms and conditions established above.
Jurisdiction and Applicable Law:

These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of the Republic of Colombia.

Any dispute related to these terms and conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Colombia.
